Shelby Walker
BOCA RATON, Fla. - Shelby Walker, a former resident of Kingsville, an Army veteran and a professional boxer, died Sept. 24, 2006. She was 31.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Loujean Stauffer and Thomas Miller of Three Rivers; her father, James Lee Rogers of Irving; a son, Aaron Joseph Sternburg of Lake Charles, La.; a sister, Brandi Rogers of Texas; three brothers, Richard Graham of Austin, Jimmy Dale Helmke of Three Rivers and Christopher James Rogers of Texas; and a stepsister, Angela Havel Barton of Gonzales.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville. Burial with military honors will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Kingsville.
